It's here!!!

We can't believe our trip is here. We've been talking and planning on this for a year and its mind boggling that its really here. We'll keep you posted with pics and comments every step of the way. Happy New Year to all!

The Final Countdown

Well, we're exactly 15 days from our departure to Orlando, FL and our adventure at Disney World.  The rooms are booked...(not the Art of Animation as we orginally planned.  We couldn't pass up the free meal plan offered by staying at the Port Orleans, Riverside,)...Kelly has an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique followed by Lunch at Cinderella's castle...She also has a special lunch time planned at the Grand Floridian with Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and mom...We're all looking forward to our first night there on January 2 when we'll dine at Ohana at the Polynesian Resort with our good friends the Melius family.  The tickets are bought....for a fun 6 days at the 4 parks.  We are all very excited and can't wait for January 1st to get here.  We'll be taking lots of pictures and posting them here for you to keep up with our adventures.  I'm sure lots will end up on Facebook as well.

The Journey begins...

Well, it's June 11, 2012 and the Black Family is officially beginning our journey to Disney World...well the planning of our journey.  We will actually head to Disney World on New Year's Eve 2012 and arrive to begin the fun on January 2, 2013.  Our 4 year old, Kelly Frances is beside herself in anticipation because this will be her first trip to the Magic Kingdom.  We've got our room reserved at the new Art of Animation resort and we'll will set up character meals and the rest of our trip when allowable.  It will be a special time shared with our son Zakk (20) who is currently in school in Orlando at Full Sail University studying film and with our son Kaleb (19) who will just be finishing up his first semester at North Texas when we take our trip.  We are all looking forward to this special time in this magic place.
